Managing Conversations

As your conversation history grows, Magus gives you several tools to stay organized.

Creating folders

Folders let you group related conversations together. To create a folder:

1. Click the New Folder button in the sidebar (the folder icon with a plus sign).
2. Type a name for the folder and press Enter.

The folder will appear in your sidebar. Folders can be collapsed to save space.

Moving conversations into folders

To move a conversation into a folder, hover over the conversation in the sidebar and drag it onto the folder. You can also right-click (or long-press on mobile) to open a context menu with a “Move to folder” option.

To remove a conversation from a folder, use the same context menu and select “Remove from folder.”

Favorites

Star any conversation to pin it to the favorites section at the top of the sidebar. This is useful for conversations you return to regularly.

To favorite a conversation, hover over it in the sidebar and click the star icon. Click the star again to remove it from favorites.

Searching conversations

Use the search bar at the top of the sidebar to find conversations by title or content. Results update as you type. Click a result to jump directly to that conversation.

History page

The history page gives you a full list of all your conversations with sorting and filtering options. Access it from the History link in the main navigation. From here you can:

• Browse conversations by date
• Filter by folder or tag
• Select multiple conversations for bulk actions

Deleting conversations

To delete a conversation, hover over it in the sidebar and click the trash icon, or use the context menu and select “Delete.” You’ll be asked to confirm before the conversation is deleted.

Deleted conversations are moved to the trash and can be recovered for a short period.

Restoring from trash

To restore a deleted conversation, go to the trash from the bottom of the sidebar or the History page. Find the conversation you want to restore, click on it, and select Restore. The conversation will return to your conversation list exactly as it was.

Conversations in the trash are permanently deleted after 30 days.
